Gryphon Legend REVAMP (Get excited folks!)

Wow.  So I haven’t posted in forever.  >.>

Sorry folks, I let life get in the way and drag me from doing blog posts.  The good news is that things should be relatively settled, so hopefully I will keep up with things now.

On to the point of this post though. Ha.

Gryphon Legend.  3.0

So, for those of you not familiar with it, “Gryphon Legend” was my first complete novel, written in 2011 during NaNoWriMo.  It tells the story of the gryphon Keshaar, who finds himself fighting in a war, opposite his twin brother.  What’s more, the only way to win is if he ends his brother’s life.

The first edition of this book is “meh”.  The second is better.  The third (or maybe fourth) is gonna be fantastic.

How?  Why? You might ask.  What makes this better than all the others?

Well for one, there will be a total revamp.  I’m wiping the slate with my current MS and taking this book in a whole new direction.  The main plot will remain the same, but all the boring bits in between are going to the trash.

There will be a title change too.  It will no longer be called “Gryphon Legend”.  It will have a new name, and be apart of a trilogy.

So what else is there?\

The amazing Jennifer Miller (Featherdust Studios) will be doing some promotional artwork for this book, as well as the cover art for the printed and digital copies. In case you missed it, her art is AWESOME.

The book, both digital and printed will be funded via Kickstarter.  This is where anyone who wants to support an individual artist and help them succeed, as well as be apart of the process, can donate funds and receive awesome goodies in return.

With just a little help, this book will receive an awesome shiny cover, and a good polish from my favorite group of editors over at CritiqueMyNovel.

This will ensure that this book is the best it can possibly be, and a story that folks will love.

So, if you guys are even the least bit excited about it, keep watch on here, or on my facebook page.  I will be posting an update, with some art (again provided by Jennifer Miller) as well as announcing the new title.  The page for the novel on this blog will be revised at that time, to reflect the updated story and future kickstarter status.

So keep your eyes peeled gryphon fans and fantasy lovers, there’s a new book heading your way, and it’s gonna be fantastic!

About lvadams

I grew up in Central Florida for most of my life. I was one of those strange kids who liked to catch lizards and snakes, and brought everything home from stray kittens to baby chickens and ducks. I started writing around the age of 11 and never really stopped. I now have a Bachelor's of Science degree from Auburn University and hope to get a job working with animals. Until then I keep on writing. :)
